This episode’s guest is comic book artist Liana Kangas. Currently, you can catch her run on the Black Mask Studio comic Black AF: Devil’s Dye, written by Vita Ayala. This week, it was announced via Newsarama that Kangas will join writer Joe Corallo on the next project She Said Destroy, set to debut in May through Vault Comics.
During our interview, we talked about Black AF: Devil’s Dye and her role in making the comic, as an artist finding your own style, how she became an artist, strong women leads in comic books, being a woman in the comic book industry, mentoring young creators, her favorite music artists, and her upcoming comic She Said Destroy.
