Fresh is the Word Podcast - Episode 137 - David C. Hayes

EPISODE #137: DAVID C. HAYES – IN THIS EPISODE:

On Fresh is the Word, we like to deliver wisdom through great stories from the minds of bright creatives of pop culture. Through those stories, we like to dissect the journey of our guests and present actionable lessons and advice for our listeners no matter what career or avenue of artistry they pursue.

On this episode, my guest is writer, actor, filmmarker, college professor, and all around weirdo, David C. Hayes. During our interview, we talk about his comic book Rottentail and how it got adapted into a film, that’s premieres on Thursday, April 11th in selected theatres. We also talked about his creative process bouncing around between so many mediums throughout his career and some of his favorites projects he’s worked, among other great stories and lessons Hayes had to offer.

Each episode, the guest is asked to suggest someone from their life/career that should be on Fresh is the Word that would have good stories to tell. David C. Hayes chose Joshua Werner of Source Point Press and Rottentail director Brian Skiba.

For more information on where you can see the Rottentail movie, go to RottentailTheMovie.com. On Thursday, April 4th, Source Point Press is proud to present the first World Premiere of the movie Rottentail at the Emagine Theatre in Royal Oak, MI.

This premiere is an invitation-only event, except for 50 members of the public that will be let into the premiere, free of charge. They encourage you to show up and be amongst the 50, as well as the 200 invited guests! Director Brian Skiba, actress Laurie Love, Rottentail creator David C. Hayes, film Producers, and soundtrack artists will be in attendance! (Maybe even some more surprise guests!) For your chance to see the premiere, simply come to Emagine Royal Oak any time the day of the Premiere, between 6:00PM and 6:55PM, and look for a Source Point Press representative who will be giving the first 50 people a free ticket into the 7:00PM Premiere showing. While this movie has not been rated by the Motion Picture Association of America, it does contain mature content intended for adults.
