On Fresh is the Word, we like to deliver wisdom through great stories from the minds of bright creatives of pop culture. Through those stories, we like to dissect the journey of our guests and present actionable lessons and advice for our listeners no matter what career or avenue of artistry they pursue.
The guests for this episode are world-renowned scratch DJ/producer Kid Koala and award-winning animator and breakdancer JonJon, recorded at this year’s Toronto Comic Arts Festival (TCAF), in which they were presenting their Floor Kids video game. Floor Kids is a new breakdance battle game featuring unique freestyle gameplay, rhythm challenges, and multiplayer sessions, and during our conversation, we talked about the creation process and the evolution of this video game, along with so much more.
