Kim Petras – The Phoenix Concert Theatre, Toronto, ON – November 25, 2019
Kim Petras has been one of pop music’s favorites of 2019 and she’s just starting her ascendance, so I was extremely excited to take the trip to Toronto to see her live at The Phoenix Concert Theatre. When you say this show was sold out, the people were packed as close at they could get to the stage. During the show, Kim mentioned that a short time ago, she was at the same venue opening for someone and now she has a big turntable with a pole on it on stage to dance on for her own headlining show.
She played all the best tracks from both her projects, Clarity and Turn Off the Light, along with the Charli XCX‘s songs “Unlock It” and “Click” that she is featured on. With a few costume changes throughout, Kim Petras is a star up there and turned The Phoenix into one big dance party. If possible, see her now because she has to upgrade to much bigger venues.
